Bottle of Gingerade
Possibly phony health beverage available on campus at Decafe for somewhere under four dollars. This is my absolute favorite flavor. Interesting as a marker of modern sustenance in relation with previous ideas of fad health movements. Product as means of achieving wellness, promised through terms such as “electrolytes”, “probiotics”, “enlightened”, “raw”, “millions of active cultures”, etc. Though critical of its holy healing powers, this product is consumed by myself and my peers regularly, trendy for now.
